Russian curlingist Alexander Krushelnitsky can not pay the fee in the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Without this, the CAS will not consider its appeal to a four-year disqualification for violating anti-doping rules. This was told by the athlete’s agent Andrei Mitkov , his words passes TASS .
Representatives of Krushelnitsky submitted a request for the provision of free legal assistance, but they still have to pay the court one thousand Swiss francs (about 68 thousand rubles) before January 11. Otherwise, CAS will not open the case.
“There is no money, we cannot yet find ourselves. If some caring person can help Alexander financially in his desire to get to the truth, we will be grateful, ”said Mitkov.
On December 4, Krushelnitsky received a four-year suspension for anti-doping rule violation during the 2018 Olympic Games. Traces of mildronate were found in his body. In the course of the Games, he and his partner Anastasia Bryzgalova were deprived of a bronze medal won in a double-mixte.
