It is noted that a 40-year-old man was found in an injured building in Ashkelon. The condition of two women who were in the same building during a rocket attack is assessed as critical. Israeli doctors also told about 53 victims of shelling in Israel.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, three Palestinians were killed, about 15 were injured.

Earlier, on November 12, the Israeli Air Force launched strikes against the Gaza Strip in response to rocket attacks.

According to the Israeli army, more than 70 objects of Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements were hit. It was also reported that the radicals released at least 300 rockets and shells from the enclave.

The conflict on the border of the Gaza Strip escalated in March 2018, when a peaceful protest, timed to the day of the Nakba – the exodus from the territory where the State of Israel was created in 1948, escalated into riots and clashes between protesters and Israeli troops. Protests hardened in connection with the opening on May 14 of the US embassy in Jerusalem. The decision to transfer the diplomatic mission from Tel Aviv to the White House was taken in December 2017.
