The application contains a customer database. Hacker easily got access to it. First, he decompiled (received the program code), then turned on the debug mode, and then reinstalled the application.

Having access to the database, Pisani created an application to modify it. After that, he went to one of the machines, the system did not recognize the burglary and gave him the requested product. According to Pisan, he was able to hack an app for vending machines due to a weak protection system.
