We are talking about the zero-day vulnerability, through which you can get full control over the computer.
Kaspersky Lab has discovered a previously unknown vulnerability in the Windows graphics subsystem. Thanks to this vulnerability, hackers could gain complete control over the computer they are attacking. This is stated in the press release of the company.
“This vulnerability allows attackers to gain access to the victim’s network or device. An exploit was written to use it, targeting versions 8 and 10 of Windows.”
It is noted that we are already talking about the fourth zero-day vulnerability that Kaspersky Labs managed to find.
The company passed all the vulnerability data to Microsoft. A patch to fix the error is already in work.
