Investigators are considering three versions of the Anatoly Krasheninnikov dry-cargo ship wreckage in Kamchatka: violation of the rules of navigation and loading of the vessel, technical malfunction, adverse weather conditions. RIA Novosti was told about this in the Far Eastern Investigation Department for Transport of the Russian Federation IC.
- The investigation has established the shipowner, who turned out to be an individual entrepreneur. The management of the enterprise has been questioned, seizures have been carried out, a number of other investigative and procedural measures have been taken in the criminal case, the management has told.
Recall, the cargo ship sank on November 9 off the coast of Kamchatka near Cape Lopatka. On board the ship were 13 people, 10 of them were removed from the life raft, three more – the captain, the senior assistant and the watch mechanic – were gone. Upon the incident, the regional office of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case.
