Media: At least 13 countries are interested in buying C-400

More than 13 countries are interested in buying Russian C-400 air defense systems, CNBC reported, citing the US intelligence community.

It is known that Washington, under the threat of sanctions, discourages states from buying Russian weapons in accordance with the law “On Countering America’s Opponents through Sanctions.”

It also reports a large list of countries that are still planning to acquire the C-400. This list includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Vietnam and others.

It became known earlier that Russia will supply five sets of S-400s to the Armed Forces of India by 2023. The acquisition will cost the Indian side nearly $ 5.5 billion.
