Mother kidnapped her own child for the sake of “checking” her husband

A resident of the Chinese city of Yueqing, Zhejiang Province, staged the abduction of her son to see if her husband really worried about her and the child. About it reports the South China Morning Post.

After a dispute with her husband, a woman drove her son to school and told her to wait in another car, while she went to the police to write a statement about the disappearance of the child. Then she took him to the village and left him under the supervision of relatives.

The whole country followed the search for the “missing” boy. The family announced a large award for its location information – 500,000 yuan (about five million rubles). Law enforcement agencies of Yuetsin and the neighboring city of Wenzhou threw considerable forces and resources at the investigation.

On the sixth day the child was found. It soon became clear that his mother deliberately misled people. The woman was detained on suspicion of creating and deliberately distributing disinformation.

In October, it was reported that in the Chinese city of Loudi, Hunan Province, a woman killed children and committed suicide after her husband faked his death.
