Media: The number of fire victims in California has increased to 48 people

The death toll from wildfires in California has risen to 48 people — six more bodies were found in the completely burnt down city of Paradise. It is reported by the TV channel KSBY.

Since October 8, a forest fire has swept large areas of the state. US President Donald Trump in his recent speech announced that the current tragedy is no match for the past and has become the most destructive in the history of the country.

According to the latest data, the fire burned everything on the territory of more than 500 thousand square meters. Completely destroyed more than 7.6 thousand houses. Burned down the city of Paradise. In total, more than 300 thousand people were evacuated from the danger zone.
