Medvedev expressed his condolences over the consequences of the fires in California

According to the latest data, 79 people have already become victims of the elements. The number of missing persons increased to 1276.
The head of the Russian government, Dmitry Medvedev, during a short conversation with US Deputy Prime Minister Mike Pence, on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Papua – New Guinea, expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the fires in California, as well as to the victims of the disaster. Pence thanked for offering to assist in fighting fires.

Recall that California is still raging fires, which are recognized as the most destructive in the history of the state. According to CNN, currently more than 9.8 thousand houses and over 60 thousand hectares of forest have been destroyed. In the district of Butte in the north, the death toll rose to 76 people, in total, 79 people died in the state. As Life wrote earlier, the number of missing persons increased to 1,276 people.

Earlier it was reported that a raging fire destroyed the homes of singer Miley Cyrus and actor Gerard Butler.
