“Nothing can be imposed.” Medvedev spoke about the state support of culture

The state should correctly allocate priorities for supporting cultural projects, but nothing can be imposed in this area. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with Russian television channels for the year.

“Of course, we have the right to be proud of our great national culture … For this, it is necessary to correctly distribute priorities in supporting culture,” the head of the Cabinet said, stressing that “nothing can be imposed, the culture should be different.”
