Lora DiCarlo, together with the University of Oregon’s robotics laboratory, developed the Osé sex massager, which made it possible to achieve a mixed orgasm thanks to biomimic technology. Osé was supposed to be presented at CES as one of the best products of the exhibition, and in October 2018 the exhibition organizers awarded him a victory in the nomination “Robotics and drones”.

However, two weeks later, they canceled the award and withdrew the invitation to the exhibition due to the fact that Osé is an “immoral and obscene” device. Co-founder of the startup Lora Haddock (Lora Haddock) accused the organizers of double standards, as at CES annually presents various products related to sex. After the story was published, the organizers claimed that Osé was disqualified only because the product was not supposed to fall into the category of “Robotics and drones”.
