In Syria, at least 40 civilians died in the attacks of the international coalition led by the United States. This is reported by the Syrian news agency SANA.
The airstrike was inflicted on the village of Al-Bachaan, located in the south of the province of Deir-ez-Zor. Most of the dead are women and children.
On November 15, at least 17 civilians were reportedly killed in the village of Bu-Badran, located in the same province, as a result of attacks by the American coalition. The day before, the Allies used cluster bombs to conduct air strikes on the settlements of Hajin and Sha’af in the province of Deir ez-Zor.
In late October, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused the coalition of using ammunition prohibited by international conventions. What exactly, the representative office did not specify.
The civil war in Syria began in 2011. Government forces, led by President Bashar al-Assad, oppose moderate opposition and diverse Islamic groups.
Since the fall of 2015, Russia, at the official request of the Syrian government, has been hitting the positions of terrorists in the country. Similar actions, but without the sanction of Damascus, an international coalition led by the United States has been leading since 2014.
