The model, whose body is covered with moles, told how she was cruelly humiliated as a child

The world is sometimes very cruel to people who are different from most. Julianna Yousef from Warsaw, Poland, felt this for herself.
It so happened that a girl with Ukrainian roots was born with moles all over her body. They cover most of her back and abdomen and are scattered around her arms and legs. And because of this, Julianne already in childhood had to face cruelty and rejection from others. They scoffed at her, insulted her, and her parents forbade their children to be friends with a girl.

“I was a Dalmatian, a giraffe, a cow, I was dirty. People thought that if they spoke to me, my birthmarks would be transferred to them. I’m so tired of hiding and being afraid ”

Julianna has a melanocytic nevus. These are benign growths – moles, or birthmarks. They are found in many and, of course, are not contagious. But this did not prevent people from sending insulting comments to her address. Once, when Julianne was 15, she went to the beach with a friend. And she expected such a reception, after which she spent the rest of the summer at home.

“Some granny came to me with her own tips on how to remove my “warts”, the waitresses in the cafe told me unkind words. That morning a lot of things happened. And a friend told me: “My God, Julie! Walking with you is like walking with a monkey” ”

Julianne had to go through a lot. Through doubt, hatred, fear and insecurity. And she had a lot to learn to gradually accept herself. Now the 25-year-old girl leads a popular Instagram page, where more than 103 thousand followers admire her. And her photo will soon be seen at the London exhibition How Do You C Me Now, dedicated to people with congenital melanocytic nevi, writes The Sun.

“I wanted to be happy and healthy. I wanted to feel beautiful, confident and desired, and now I have succeeded. But I had to go a long way. ”
