Pobeda Airlines decided not to charge for paper cups, Ekaterina Korotkova, a representative of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office (MITI) , told TASS .
According to her, the prosecutor’s office during the inspection established that Victory is not going to introduce such a fee. Korotkova also noted that such a measure violates the law.
As the RBC source told the airline in December , Pobeda thought about introducing a cup fee after it lost a case in the Supreme Court about reducing the list of things allowed for carriage in hand luggage, which forced the carrier to increase costs. It was reported that Victory spends at least 1 million rubles a month on water cups.
Responding to the RBC note on the idea of toll cups, the official representative of Pobeda said that for the time being the company “is not seriously considering the possibility of introducing a fee for cups”.

MITI also inspected the airline in another proceeding – the prosecutor’s office demanded that Pobeda cancel registration for flights at airports in foreign countries and filed a lawsuit in court.
