Two light aircraft collided in the air in Germany

Near the Erkelents-Kukhoven airfield in Germany two light-engined airplanes collided; as a result, one aircraft completely burned down, its pilot was killed. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 17, according to the Rheinische Post.

The cars collided in the air, one of them, under the control of a 70-year-old pilot, took off, the second plane was landing. As a result, the first plane caught fire, its pilot was killed on the spot. The second pilot was taken to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating, the cause of the accident is not yet known. It is noted that the weather conditions at the time of the collision were normal.
